Final beam of new Link raised and installed in Aug. 26 Topping Out ceremony
After many signatures were inscribed on the final steal beam, it was raised into place during Wednesday's Topping Out ceremony Phase 1 of the college's construction project.
The College of Engineering celebrated the Topping Out of the new Link on City Campus Aug. 26 as the final steel beam was raised and installed, ending the framing work of its Phase 1 facilities project. The new Link will house department offices, laboratories, classrooms and collaborative spaces.
