GRE workshop set for Monday

Is the GRE required for admission to your professional school? Learn more about the basics of the test and get advice on how to prepare at a workshop presented by UNL Career Services in Lincoln on Monday, Nov. 10 from 4-5 p.m. in Love Library South Room 110.

 

COMSOL multiphysics workshop set for Thursday

Students are invited to a free workshop launching the upcoming COMSOL Multiphysics v5.0 and its new features and additional capabilities. Attendees will receive a free two-week trial of the software, a hands-on tutorial and free pizza. The workshop is Thursday, Nov. 13, 5:15-8:30 p.m. in Othmer 110.

 

Dates to remember

(LNK) Open registration for spring semester begins Wednesday, Nov. 12, and runs through Jan. 11, 2015. Also, Friday, Nov. 14, is the last day for students to withdraw from any courses for the Fall Semester.

 

Omaha offers Study Stops three times weekly

Engineering Study Stops held three times weekly(OMA) Engineering Study Stops will be held three times a week in PKI. Students can work in groups, get help with their math, chemistry and physics courses and meet with peer tutors. Study stop times are Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30-9:30 p.m. and Sundays 6-9 p.m.
