Distinguished Teaching Award nominations due today

Today (Monday, March 9) is the deadline for College of Engineering students in Lincoln and Omaha to nominate faculty for the new Tau Beta Pi Distinguished Teaching Award. All College of Engineering faculty are eligible to be nominated.

Once nominations are received, TBP members will choose the top three or four candidates. All students will then have the opportunity to vote online among these choices.

The recipient of this award will receive cash and a trophy.

Timeline:

• Student nominations: due March 9, 8 p.m.

• Tau Beta Pi voting to select 3-4 top choices: March 11

• Voting by engineering student body: March 16 – April 3

The final award will presented to the faculty member in mid-April.
