It is estimated that one in three people will need a blood transfusion in their lifetime.
To help alleviate the need for donated blood, the Nebraska Community Blood Bank's Blood Mobile will be at 900 N. 16th St. on Thursday, March 12 from noon to 4 p.m. for the Pi Tau Sigma College of Engineering Blood Drive.
All blood types are needed, especially Type O. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to donate blood.
