Olympians to discuss succeeding on 'global stage'

Rebecca Soni and Ariana Kukors have achieved international success in their swimming careers, including competing at the Olympics and setting world records.

These Olympians will give a presentation, "Setting Goals, Motivating and Disciplining Yourself to Succeed on a Global Stage," in appearances on the University of Nebraska campuses.

The first will be Wednesday, April 8, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in PKI 158 (the Peter Kiewit Institute) in Omaha, and the second will be Thursday, April 9, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in Colonial Room A (City Campus Union) in Lincoln. The events are sponsored by Nebraska Engineering, The UNO College of Information Science and Technology and the UNL Office of Student Affairs.

Soni is a breaststroke specialist who is a six-time Olympic medalist.

Kukors holds the world record (long course) in the 200-meter individual medley.
