UCARE seeks student research applications

Undgergraduate students interested in working with faculty in research and creative opportunities can apply to be part of UNL's Undergraduate Creative Activitiy and Research Experience (UCARE) program. It is open to full-time students who have completed at least 30 credit hours by May 2016. Eligible students can apply for a UCARE undergraduate research assistantship for summer 2016 and/or the 2016-17 academic year.

Summer 2016 applications will be accepted on line from Oct. 27 to Jan. 26. Applications for the academic year 2016-17 will be accepted online from Feb. 9 to April 5.

UCARE will also be offering informational workshops about the program that can help students identify and select a faculty adviser, develop a UCARE research abstract, and assemble and submit a UCARE application.

* Jan. 13, 3 p.m., East Campus Union
* March 1, 11:30 a.m., Nebraska Union
