If you are interested in paid opportunities to do research and creative activities, UNL’s Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experience (UCARE) will on February 6 begin accepting applications online for the 2017-18 academic year. The application period will run through March 3.
UCARE provides opportunities for undergraduates to work with faculty and engage in research and creative activities at UNL. The program is open to full-time undergraduate students who have completed at least 30 credit hours by May 2017. Eligible students can apply for a UCARE undergraduate research assistantship for the 2017-18 academic year.
Application workshops will be held Feb. 6 (3 p.m., East Campus Union) and Feb. 7 (10 a.m., Gaughan Multicultural Center).
This workshops will show you how to:
* Identify and select a faculty adviser
* Develop a UCARE research abstract; and
* Assemble and submit a UCARE application.
