The Golden Calculator hunt will take place on both the City and Scott campuses. Follow UNL Engineering Student Advisory Board (eSAB) and NESCO – Nebraska Engineering Student Council of Omaha (NESCO) on Facebook for daily clues. Solve the puzzle, find the golden calculator and win the prize.
TODAY’S EVENTS
*10 a.m.-noon: Battlebots (PKI Atrium) – Drive robots, win prizes, and eat free pizza (arriving at noon).
*1-3 p.m.: Tacos and Telenovelas (Location) – Hosted by Latin@s in Science & Engineering. Brush up on your Spanish and win prizes for the telenovela clip-translating contest. All are welcome to enjoy free authentic Mexican food from a local taqueria.
*3-5 p.m.: Leaning Tower Design Competition (Location) – Hosted by Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). Individuals compete for first-, second- and third-place prizes.
*5-7:30 p.m.: Free Pizza Dinner and a Movie (Godfather’s and Aksarben Cinema, Aksarben Village locations) – Hosted by Nebraska Engineering Student Council of Omaha (NESCO). From 5-7 p.m. at Godfather’s Pizza, the first 75 students to swipe their MavCARD get a free buffet dinner. From 6-7:30 p.m. at Aksarben Cinema, the first 75 students to swipe their MavCARD get a free movie ticket. Movie ticket must be used before close of business on Feb. 20.
