Teams sought for CornHacks hackathon
(LNK) The CornHacks hackathon event, hosted by CSE-SAB, is scheduled for Jan. 19-20 in Avery Hall. Teams of up to four students will work on computing projects that will be judged. Swag and prizes will be given out and food provided. The event is free. For more information, click the link below.

Nebraska student programming teams AllAccepted and Huskers 11 took first and second places at the Association for Computing Machinery's regional International Collegiate Programming Contest, which was hosted last month by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Continue reading…
iGEM team takes home silver medal
The Nebraska team took home a silver medal and a nomination for best poster at the 2018 iGEM Giant Jamboree in Boston in October. The project involves engineering a strain of E.coli to control the emerald ash borer, an insect killing off ash trees. Learn more about iGEM at item.unl.edu.
