Nebraska's iGEM team earned a silver medal at the 2018 Giant Jamboree.
The Nebraska team took home a silver medal and a nomination for best poster at the 2018 iGEM Giant Jamboree in Boston in October. The project involves engineering a strain of E.coli to control the emerald ash borer, an insect killing off ash trees. Learn more about iGEM at item.unl.edu.
