The Institute of Ethnic Studies is sponsoring two events next week:
Honor Song Ceremony: On Monday, October 13, at 10am at the Indigenous Garden, IES has joined UNITE to host an Honor Song Ceremony for the garden and to recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Drummers and dancers will perform the ceremony. The Indigenous Garden is located between Brace Lab and Manter Hall.
Dedication of the Guzman Family ClassroomOn Thursday, October 16, at 5:30-7:30pm, in Andrews Hall 109, IES will host a dedication and the event will be catered by El Jalisciense.
