Hi Gang,
I’ll admit I’m a little short on laughs right now, so I’m afraid this will be a bit more business-like than usual. Just a few reminders:
* The last day to withdraw from a fall class is THIS FRIDAY, 11/14. If you are considering dropping a class, the standard thing is to talk to both your advisor and Husker Hub to make sure you’re aware of any repercussions related to financial aid or scholarships. I have drop-in hours this week on Tuesday (today), 1-3pm; Wednesday, 1-3pm; and Thursday, 10am-12pm at this link: https://unl.zoom.us/my/casadvising. I will also be doing in-person drop in advising tonight (11/11) from 5-7pm in Oldfather 107.
* It’s time to register for spring classes! You can utilize my drop in hours mentioned above or make an appointment.
* If you have an advising hold on your account (academic warning or new student hold), you’ll need to make an appointment to get it lifted in order to register for classes for spring.
* Similarly, if you have an outstanding balance, you’ll need to pay it down to $200 or less to register for spring classes. Unfortunately, I can help very little here and would recommend going to Husker Hub to discuss financial-related concerns.
I hope you all have a good week. Make sure to drink water, eat good food, and talk some walks!
Best,
Dr Lacey
