HIST 286: The Music of Protest explores world protest movements through their use of music to unify their people and to express a political and social message. In Dr. Curry's class, you can expect to write a protest song with an international musician; design your own album cover; build a playlist; write your own protest song; and create a graffiti wall.
HIST 286 meets TR 2-3:15 this spring. The class can be used toward the HIST major and minor, and with permission, toward the ETHN major or minor.
