
Do you like talking with other students about writing? Would you enjoy working as part of a diverse, supportive community? Consider applying to become a Writing Center consultant! Students from ALL majors are encouraged to apply: we are looking for excellent communicators with strong interpersonal skills who are curious, highly motivated, and eager to learn. We welcome candidates from underrepresented and/or marginalized communities and/or identities, including (but not limited to) students of color, LGBTQIA+ students, first-generation college students, and international and/or multilingual students. Students must be an undergraduate student in a degree-granting program for the duration of employment and have fulfilled the first-year writing requirement (ACE 1). Position will start in Fall 2026.
