Sponsored by the College of Engineering, Husker AI Days is a two-week (April 13-24) campus-wide initiative bringing together students, faculty, staff, and industry partners to explore the practical use of artificial intelligence.
The program combines hands-on workshops, industry-led sessions, research discussions, and networking opportunities.
Our goal is to make AI practical, accessible, and actionable for everyone at UNL.
Husker AI Days brings together faculty, staff, students, and external partners for hands‑on workshops, demonstrations, training sessions, and student showcases. Four major industry partners (Google, MathWorks, Microsoft, and OpenAI) will each host dedicated programming, complemented by university‑led sessions and student‑centered events.
Students are central to the series, which culminates in a Student Spotlight highlighting AI projects from across campus. Additional complementary events from across the Nebraska innovation ecosystem frame the two weeks.
