The 18th Annual Great Plains Behavioral Health Conference will be held virtually on Wednesday, July 22 (8:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) and Thursday, July 23 (9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.). There is no charge to attend the conference. Registration is required. Register at https://go.unl.edu/dbh2020-register

The 2020 theme is Building Resilience. Long-term Recovery: It's Everyone's Job. Learning how to prepare and respond to the psychological effects of disaster and mass casualties.

Conference objectives:

  • Discuss the role of behavioral health in long-term disaster recovery.
  • Describe the role of various state and volunteer organizations in individual and community disaster recovery.
  • Demonstrate how behavioral health professionals can work with state and volunteer organizations to assist with individual and community recovery.

Who should attend: Behavioral health professionals, public health officials, emergency managers, first responders, local officials, extension staff, and disaster responders
