Knox County MARC on April 16

This is a call for Extension Faculty and Staff to help with the Multi-Agency Resource Center in Valley and Bellevue this upcoming weekend. Extension will be having a table at the MARC to provide community members that have had flood damage with information and answer questions. We need folks from all subject matter areas to help us fill the time slots. The MARCs are a great way to let individuals and other community organizations know about resources that Nebraska Extension and the University of Nebraska has to assist with recovery. This is something any of our faculty or staff can help out with. This is considered Extension work so you do not need to take vacation to help out.

There will be more MARCs in other communities in the coming weeks that we will also need help with. For those in counties not as directly effected by floods working at a MARC is a way you can contribute to the flood recovery effort. Thanks for your consideration.

We are looking for assistance in staffing the Nebraska Extension table at the Knox MARC.

I suggest you wear a UNL/Extension shirt, bring your name tag and business cards. Try to arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks for your willingness to help out.

For questions, please contact Jackie Steffen (jsteffen2@unl.edu).
