Monday, August 26th - Fall Semester begins & Late Registration begins ($100.00 late registration fee assessed if not enrolled in ANY classes before August 26th)
Monday, September 2nd - Labor Day (Student and Staff Holiday-UNL offices closed)
Tuesday, September 3rd - Last day for full semester course registrations and adds including adds of thesis or dissertation credits (Census Date) & Last day to drop a full semester course and receive 100% refund
Friday, September 6th - Last day to drop a full semester course and receive 75% refund & Last day to file a drop to remove a full semester course from student’s record
Friday, September 13th - Last day to withdraw from a full semester course and receive 50% refund & Final day to apply for a degree in December ($25.00 fee due with application)
Friday, September 20th - Last day to withdraw from a full semester course and receive 25% refund
Friday, October 18th - Last day to change a full semester course registration to or from “Pass/No Pass”
Monday, October 21st & Tuesday, October 22nd - Fall Semester Break (Student Holiday - UNL offices open)
Monday, October 28th to Tuesday, November 12th - Priority Registration for Spring Semester 2025
Wednesday, November 13th - Open Registration Begins for Spring Semester 2025
Friday, November 15th - Last day to withdraw from one or more full semester courses for the term
Wednesday, November 27th - Student Holiday (UNL offices open)
Thursday, November 28th to Sunday, December 1st - Thanksgiving Vacation (UNL offices closed)
Monday, December 9th to Friday, December 13th - Final week of classes (Dead Week)
Monday, December 16th to Friday, December 20th - Fall Semester Final Exams
Friday, December 20th - Fall Semester Graduate Commencement and Doctoral Hooding Ceremony
