EAS Academic Program Review – Undergraduate Student Meeting

Hello Geology and Meteorology-Climatology majors,

TODAY, the department will host a small team of reviewers from UNL and other universities who will be evaluating our academic programs, both undergraduate and graduate. As part of this review, the team would like to meet with groups of undergraduate students and graduate students in separate meetings to hear your comments about our programs. Each meeting will be 45 minutes long, and we would like to have as broad a representation of our students as possible, covering the range of years from freshman to super seniors, and from new graduate students to PhD candidates.

The meetings are scheduled on Tuesday, 1 October in Bessey 104 at the following times:
Graduate students: 8:00-8:45 am
Undergraduates: 8:45-9:30 am

I know these are early for many, but please try to attend and have your voice heard. The report and feedback we get from this review will be important in helping us to improve our academic programs in future years.

Thanks,
Prof Rowe
