Increasingly, business school students and alumni want to work in the tech industry. They may want a job with one of the well-known giants, like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, or Amazon; or a job with a company coming off a successful IPO like Slack or Zoom; or a job with a start-up that will change the world but few know yet. It could be a company in a geographic tech industry hub like Silicon Valley, Seattle, or Austin; or it could be a company in another region of the United States or Canada. And it could be a position requiring a STEM undergraduate background or the company believes a candidate with a background in unrelated fields like education or film production will add creativity and innovative thinking.
