Insurance Regulation Through an Actuarial Lens:
The Department of Insurance team, including the Chief Actuary and Deputy Chief Examiner, will provide an overview of the Department of Insurance, including who we are, what we do and why. The presentation will include a demonstration of how financial analysts and actuaries on our team might interact while monitoring the financial solvency of an insurance company navigating a financial transaction related to a long-term care insurance block of business.
