The Nebraska Educator—a graduate-run journal for the College of Education and Human Sciences—seeks a new editor and chief and editorial board for the Nebraska Educator. The former board also seeks new graduate students to participate. This is a great opportunity for master's and doctoral students to gain firsthand knowledge of all aspects of the academic publishing process.

Publishing once a year, editorial board members have several responsibilities. New board members will take part in advertising the journal to students around the college who may be interested in submitting work. Submission deadline is typically near the beginning of March. Editorial board members will continue to advertise as submissions start in early February, which will be followed by the review process.

Students interested in becoming an editorial board member should Zoe Falls at zoe.falls@huskers.unl.edu by October 1 indicating their interest, a brief letter of intent (2 page max) and an abbreviated CV.
