- metagenomics/microbiome

Students from ANY graduate program at UNL (as long as they are working in one of the areas listed above) are eligible for support. First priority will go to students pursuing a doctoral degree who have completed at least one year of doctoral study. Applications must contain:
- Description of their research or field of study (limit of 200 words);
- Name, department and email address for current advisor(s);
- Expected graduation date;
- Description of amount of time or funding that was lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic (internship, grant funding, summer job, etc.);
- Letter from advisor(s) describing the need for funding support; and
- Plans for what will be achieved with this funding (data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation/revision, preparation/submission of grant proposal, new curricula development, etc.).
Applications lacking any of the above information will be deemed nonresponsive and will not be considered for funding. Applications must be submitted and routed through NuRamp by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5.
