The Office of Graduate Studies will offer an Orientation for Teaching Assistants this August. This orientation will be provided via Canvas and Zoom. Students who register will receive access to a series of modules on Canvas with information on effective teaching and university policies.
Graduate Studies will also hold a virtual panel of experienced teaching assistants at noon on August 11, 2020 and two virtual Q&A sessions on August 11, 2020 from, one from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and another from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., to allow students to ask any questions they may have about teaching in the fall.
