ITS seeks graduate student assistant for scanning services

ITS is currently seeking a Student Assistant for Scanning Services and MySurveys in the Digital Learning Center of Love Library North. Primary job responsibilities for Scanning Services include: processing of course tests taken on Scantron (“bubble”) sheets, which entails scanning, correcting errors, scoring, and preparing documents for electronic delivery. Primary job responsibilities for MySurveys include: sharing in the administration, training and customer support (with an incident ticketing system) of a campus-wide on-line course evaluation system. Will be responsible for following Digital Learning Center guidelines pertaining to maintaining a sanitized work area and cleanliness of materials. Some light office work and customer service desk duties are also involved.

QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, adherence to UNL confidentiality standards regarding sensitive information, and the ability to perform duties accurately, responsibly, and be able to work independently. A functional knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and proficient keyboarding skills, are required. Federal Work-Study preferred but not required.

PAY/HOURS: $10.50/hr. We are looking for 1-2 students to fill 20 hours/week starting August 17, 2020—the beginning of the Fall 2020 semester. This will continue into Spring 2021 and beyond. Flexible scheduling within the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F.
