Virtual professional development series will cover public speaking, career exploration

Mark your calendars! The Office of Graduate Studies will host a series of virtual professional development workshops December 7-12, 2020.

Topics include:

  • Career exploration both in and outside of academia
  • Creating an Individual Development Plan
  • 1:1 job document review sessions
  • Entrepreneurship and the local job market
  • Developing the perfect elevator pitch
  • Public speaking
  • Mock speed interviews
More information and event registration will be available in The Graduate Report on November 18, 2020. Each workshop is a separate event, so you are able to choose the topics that are most relevant to you.
