Develop a syllabus based on your dissertation, thesis in online course design series this summer

This summer, the graduate student professional development team at the Office of Graduate Studies will offer an online professional development course/workshop series on teaching and course design.

This will be a 7-week course beginning the week of June 14, 2021 and concluding the week of July 26, 2021. Tentatively, the group will virtually meet Tuesdays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

It is designed to provide an introduction to course design for graduate students and postdocs. By the end of the series, students will develop a complete syllabus for a new course based on their dissertation/thesis research or postdoctoral research.

This workshop series will have regular coursework and material provided online and weekly meetings with participating University of Nebraska–Lincoln students.

This workshop is part of CIRTL programming and will count toward CIRTL@Nebraska certification.

If you are interested in participating, please complete the registration form by May 26, 2021. If you have any questions, please email Lisa Rohde at lrohde2@unl.edu.
