OPPORTUNITY: University Conduct Board seeks applications from graduate students

The Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards is recruiting both undergraduate and graduate students to be a part of the University Conduct Board (UCB), and believe that students in graduate study would make excellent additions to the board.

As members of the board, students ensure that their fellow students are given the opportunity to have their cases heard by a representative body of the University. Thus, their decisions influence the attitudes and behaviors of students/student organizations that choose to go through the formal process. The UCB is responsible for representing the University as they develop appropriate responses for students that engage in behavior that is inconsistent with the University mission, values, and goals. As a member of the UCB they will determine when students are in violation or not in violation of allegations of student misconduct, as well as appropriate sanctions.
