The Center of Integrated Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) will run two online courses, one massive open online course (or MOOC), two workshops, two drop-in event series, and our annual Teaching-as-Research presentation session.

All UNL graduate students and postdocs have access to teaching training and resources through the CIRTL Network through their campus email.

Courses
Courses have synchronous online sessions and require regular homework outside of those class meetings. Registration is required and is limited to CIRTL members and alumni.

Postdoc Teaching Practicum
Work with an experienced instructor in your discipline to enhance your understanding and experience of teaching a university course in this semester-long mentorship program. Cap: 30. Stay tuned for updates about an info session on December 17.

Research Mentor Training
Develop your mentoring skills and knowledge in this intensive 6-week seminar designed for graduate students and postdocs with mentoring experience. Cap: 20.

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)
CIRTL MOOCs take place on the EdX platform and use video-based modules, discussion boards, and peer-reviewed assignments to teach participants about different aspects of evidence-based STEM teaching over the course of 8 weeks. Registration is required; there is no cost to participate and no enrollment cap.

Advancing Learning through Evidenced-Based STEM Teaching
Learn about developing effective, evidence-based STEM teaching practices at your own pace through online video modules and discussion boards in this 8-week MOOC developed by CIRTL Network faculty. No cap.

Workshops
Workshops have synchronous online sessions and require independent work outside of those meetings. Registration is required and is limited to CIRTL members and alumni.

Disrupting Bullying in Graduate School: Strategies and Interventions
