The university requires that all students, faculty, and staff complete the online sexual misconduct prevention and response training program through the Bridge Learning Management System. The graduate and professional student training takes about 45 minutes to complete. This training is an important step in preventing harassment and sexual violence in our campus community, providing students with information about resources, reporting options, and strategies to promote a safer and more inclusive campus environment. The training is administered by Institutional Equity and Compliance (IEC).
On or around August 1, 2022, individuals whose training has expired will receive an email from Bridge about re-enrollment. Please note that individuals who have completed the training in the last 12 months will not receive an email until about a month before their training is set to expire. Individuals are encouraged to complete the training program by August 30, 2022. Please wait until you have received the re-enrollment email from notifications@nebraska.bridgeapp.com to redo your training, if you have not received the email, the system will not record your completion.
Individuals who are concerned about how the training content may impact them can receive the information in an alternate format. Options are explained in the introduction to the training and on this webpage. Individuals who have requested the information in an alternate format last year will be re-enrolled in the training and have the choice of taking the training or requesting the alternate format again.
If you have questions about the training, please visit the IEC webpage for additional information about the training. If you have questions, please contact IEC at equity2@unl.edu.
