The Postdoc Science Slam will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Chimney Rock Room of the Nebraska Union, as part of Nebraska Research Days. Postdocs from all disciplines are invited to submit short 60-second video proposals by Friday, October 21 for an opportunity to present during the event.

The Slam offers postdocs a platform to communicate with those both inside and outside their disciplines about their research or creative activity in an engaging, concise, and understandable format. Postdocs selected to present during the Slam will have five minutes to engage the audience. Following the presentations, the in-person and Zoom audience will vote to determine a winner. Prizes will be awarded.

If you are interested in participating in the Research and Creative Activity Slam, register and submit a video link. The deadline to submit a video proposal is 5 p.m. Friday, October 21. Presenters will be selected by a panel of Office of Graduate Studies staff.
