CIRTL (Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning) is a great resource for supporting graduate students and postdocs in their teaching. As part of the CIRTL Network, UNL joins more than 40 schools in the U.S. and Canada in supporting graduate students in their teaching development. In addition to workshops and other programming on campus, graduate students and postdocs have access to online courses, workshops, and learning communities and other programming offered across the larger network.

You can also earn certifications to demonstrate your expertise in teaching. Learn more about the three levels of certification (https://cirtl.unl.edu/cirtl-certification) and specific requirements. Students can create a free account and check out offerings and upcoming events (https://cirtl.net/events/) across the network. Those interested can be given access to a Canvas page for UNL's CIRTL program as an easy way to stay on top of CIRTL events on campus; it's also where students should submit any materials needed to complete the requirements for CIRTL certification.

Email Lisa Rohde at lrohde2@unl.edu if you have any questions or if you would like to be added to the CIRTL Canvas page.
