The course highlights quick, yet theoretically defensible, methods useful for smaller-scale policy analyses or for taking a preliminary cut at larger-scale policy analyses. The purpose of policy analysis is to help policymakers choose among complex options under uncertain conditions. Students will conduct a policy analysis in their choice of subject area.
