To kick off the upcoming term and embrace the new year, our website has undergone a revision to reflect OGS's evolution. We are transitioning from the term "Professional Development" to the more encompassing label of "Graduate Support." This linguistic shift aims to highlight the wide array of diverse services that OGS will now offer, particularly in the areas of well-being, writing support, and graduate support coaching.
The name change is strategic, providing clarity to students—especially those from international backgrounds—faculty, and stakeholders about the expanded and forthcoming scope of our services. We believe that this more explicit language will resonate with our community, ensuring everyone is aware of the extensive support OGS is committed to providing.
