Request Teaching Observations Now

If you're a Teaching Assistant (TA), you have the opportunity to request a class observation from our office. This is an excellent way to receive constructive feedback on your teaching methods and enhance your instructional skills.

Here's how the consultation process works: Initially, you'll have a brief conversation with an instructional consultant. Then, during our visit to your class, we'll gather feedback from your students and observe your teaching for the remainder of the class period. Following the observation, we'll schedule an individual meeting with you to discuss the feedback received, observations made, and suggest teaching strategies tailored to your needs.

We're flexible in our observation approach, accommodating both online and in-person classes. Additionally, we're equipped to observe TAs in various roles, whether you're the primary instructor, a lab TA, a discussion/recitation TA, or even a guest lecturer.
