The Methodology and Evaluation Research Core Facility (MERC) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is hiring hourly graduate interns for applied data support over the summer 2024. The work involves evaluation and methodology projects related to:
1) international agriculture,
2) surveys of college health behaviors,
3) interdisciplinary teams, or
4) the measurement of gender in surveys.

Depending on student skills, job duties may include researching best practices, compiling resources, data management and cleaning, data collection, qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis, summarizing results, data visualization, and report writing. Must have strong communication skills and be able to work independently.

Experience synthesizing and writing about data and descriptive statistics, proficiency with Word and Excel, and a statistical or coding software package (e.g., SPSS, Stata, MAXQDA) is preferred. This is an hourly position ($18/hour) and does not include tuition or fee coverage. Applicants must be a current graduate student at UNL.
