From May 7-11, 2018, the University Libraries will host a free writing retreat for University of Nebraska–Lincoln faculty and graduate students in Love Library. The purpose of the retreat is to provide an opportunity for participants to focus on their academic writing and publishing projects in the quiet week after the end of spring semester.
The retreat is free, but limited to 70 participants. Registration is now open and available online https://www.eventbrite.com/e/unl-libraries-writing-retreat-2018-tickets-43368658826
Hosting the retreat in Love Library allows the participants to use our library spaces and attend informative workshops designed to maximize time and effort. The retreat is popular and registration fills up quickly. Don’t delay registering!
Writing coaches will be on hand to provide guidance and answer questions. Expert advice on writing and publishing will be offered in brief sessions throughout the day.
The retreat’s schedule is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday. A continental breakfast and coffee will be served each day in the morning and snacks will be provided in the afternoon.
