The Writing Center is pleased to host a one-day summer writing retreat on Friday, July 27 from 8:30 am-5:00 pm at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center. The retreat is open to any faculty and graduate students working on significant writing projects, but will be limited to the first 30 individuals to register. In addition to comfortable work spaces and dedicated writing time, participants will enjoy a catered continental breakfast, lunch, and snack during the retreat. Writing Center consultants will also be available for brief consultations. Participants may spend the whole day writing, or they can participate in optional sessions on mindfulness and other stress-reducing writing practices.
