Active learning means designing materials that require students to be actively involved in the class and engaging with the concepts in a meaningful way.
An important step in successful teaching is successful preparation. However, preparing materials for hands-on/active learning can be a difficult task. In this workshop, we will discuss active learning and strategies and techniques for preparing materials to be used in a hand-on/active classroom.
This workshop will count towards CIRTL Certification.
