We invite graduate students and postdocs to attend a workshop that brings together graduate faculty from across the University of Nebraska to discuss “Career Advice for the Strategic Scientist.”

With more Ph.D. graduates in the U.S. than jobs available in academia, many graduate students and postdoctoral associates will need to consider alternative careers. Faculty can encourage students to identify, develop, and articulate the transferability of key skills throughout their academic study and find their place in today’s job market.
