Deadline approaching for the CGS/ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award

Nominations for the 2019 CGS/ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award are now open.

Presented since 1981 and sponsored jointly by CGS and ProQuest Dissertations Publishing (a Division of ProQuest Information and Learning), the two annual awards are given each year to individuals who have completed dissertations representing original work that makes an unusually significant contribution to the discipline.

The 2019 fields of competition are in Biology and Life Sciences and Humanities and Fine Arts. The nomination form and qualifications for submission can be found on the CGS website.

The deadline for nominations is July 5, 2019.
