The Nebraska Summer Research Program seeks volunteer presenters for a mock symposium on June 26 and judges to evaluate undergraduate research posters at the Nebraska Summer Research Symposium in August.

1. Mock Symposium Volunteer
June 26, 2019 | Hawks Hall Atrium, College of Business

The Nebraska Summer Research Program is seeking volunteers to present a recent research poster (STEM preferred) at the Mock Symposium on Wednesday, June 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Hawks Hall Atrium of the College of Business building.

Students in the Nebraska Summer Research Program will listen to your presentation and evaluate your poster, and the top-ranked posters will be presented to the entire group at the end of the session.

This event allows you another opportunity to present your research and is a critical teaching tool in helping us develop undergraduate researchers. Your participation is greatly appreciated!

2. Nebraska Summer Research Symposium Judge Volunteer
August 7, 2019 | Nebraska Union Centennial and Ballroom

Expertise in all academic disciplines is needed at the Nebraska Summer Research Symposium on Wednesday, August 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Centennial and Ballroom.

Volunteers will evaluate undergraduate research posters during a one hour window (1 p.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.). You will be provided with judging criteria and an evaluation sheet in advance of the event.
