A retirement reception for Sandy Lineberry will be 2-4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in the Nebraska East Union's Prairie Suites.
Lineberry is retiring after more than 32 years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, having worked at the Northeast and Southeast Research and Extension Centers; Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife; and Nebraska Forest Service. She has been staff assistant at NFS since 1993.
Jeanne Andelt is collecting letters for a "book of letters" that will be presented to Lineberry. Letters can be sent, unfolded if possible, by Oct. 1 to Andelt, 102 Forestry Hall, UNL, Lincoln, NE 68583-0815.
