A retirement reception for Sam Shafer will be 3:30 to 5 p.m. Jan. 27, in the Nebraska East Union Cottonwood Room.
Shafer is retiring after more than 19 years at the University as the Facilities/Operations Coordinator for the Department of Agronomy & Horticulture.
