We are anticipating that the temporary COVID-19 guidance related to international students and their full-time enrollment requirements will not continue in Fall 2021. At this time we are recommending that new and continuing international students who are or will be in the F-1 or J-1 immigration status in Fall 2021 plan on a return to normal requirements to maintain their immigration status, which are:

  • Undergraduate: a minimum of 12 credit hours with a minimum of 9 credit hours of in person courses
  • Graduate: a minimum of 9 credit hours with a minimum of 6 credit hours of in person courses
