
NUtech Ventures, the nonprofit technology commercialization of the University of Nebraska, is hiring for multiple paid summer internships in communications, business, and commercialization analysis. Applications can be found on their website.
NUtech Ventures serves the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Kearney campuses. The team evaluates, protects, markets and licenses the university’s intellectual property to promote economic development and improve quality of life. They also promote entrepreneurship through programming and sponsored events.

Commercialization Analyst Internship: Due Mar. 25
Commercialization analyst interns gain hands-on experience screening new invention disclosures, building the business case for technology commercialization, and helping move technologies from the lab to the marketplace. NUtech Ventures generally hires 5+ interns with a background in life sciences, engineering, chemistry, physical sciences, or other STEM fields, and preferably pursuing a graduate degree. Starting pay is $19/hour.
Communications/Operations Internship: Due Apr. 1
Communication interns gain valuable, hands-on experience in working with our team to develop communications and marketing content. As needed, interns will also assist with general office operations, including event planning and other outreach opportunities. Sample projects include: social media writing and scheduling; marketing database management; conducting interviews and writing content; market research; promoting events and content through campus internal channels. Starting pay is $13/hour.
Business Internship: Due Apr. 1
The business administration intern supports the compliance and legal operations at NUtech Ventures. Projects and responsibilities include: entering payments into database; processing invoices; creating reports in Excel and/or Tableau; and document management. Prior experience with Excel and using a proprietary database or Access database required. We typically hire senior-level undergraduate students or higher, with a focus in business, law, or related field. Starting pay is $13/hour.
