Homecoming Parade and Festivities

The ISSO cordially invites all UNL International Students and scholars to join us in celebrating a "Husker Throwback" with a colorful homecoming parade.

Let us gather to commemorate a century of UNL traditions. Experience the vivid display of student organizations, community groups, homecoming royalty, the Cornhusker Marching Band, and, of course, our thriving international student community as they participate in our annual parade.

Expect a dazzling display of floats, golf carts, balloons, performances, and much more! International students will march proudly together, showcasing their different country flags.

The Lincoln community, alumni, and university friends will be out in force to cheer along the parade route. The route begins outside the Nebraska Union and continues down 16th and Vine Streets to the East Memorial Stadium Loop.

We encourage you to wear your traditional attire or to proudly display your UNL gear. Remember to register your country's flag using the link below.

There will be sizzling hot pizza waiting for our energized students after the march!

Date: October 27th, 2023.
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Venue: Outside the west entrance of Louise Pound Hall at 512 N 12th St.,
