The Grand Island Independent and its editor, Jim Faddis, will be on campus this Tuesday, January 28, 2020, to interview students interested in applying for the newspaper's 2020 PAID summer internship. This is a reporting and writing internship that lasts 11 weeks. Ideally, applicants will be students who have completed at least their sophomore year by the summer of 2020, but all interested students are invited to sign-up for an interview. Competitive wage offered.
