Copywriting & Content Strategy Internship - Gateway Auto (LaVista, NE)

Gateway Auto is taking its core business and transitioning into the digital age. Help build an already-established organization’s digital experience and presence from the ground up.

About Gateway Auto:
Founded in 2002, Gateway Auto is a family-owned business that is defined by its relationships to its loyal employees, customers, and suppliers. These relationships make up our Gateway Auto family and are the reason we say we’re “Driven by people.” There's nothing more validating of this than the fact that our business has grown, and still exists, based on word of mouth and word of mouth alone!

Job Description:
While often under-valued, copy plays an essential role in the strategy, conception and writing of beautiful ideas, products and services. The individual we’re looking to hire will bring exceptional creative thought and craft output to their copy duties, helping Gateway Auto define itself both internally and externally. We’re looking for skilled storytellers and conceptors capable of working in a multidisciplinary environment that spans the worlds of both physical and digital, creative and analytical, traditional and post-modern—sometimes into technological experiences you may not have even considered before.

You’ll gain experience with strategic initiatives as well as be able to work with Gateway Auto’s Director of Business Intelligence who is a globally recognized writer and entrepreneur with experience writing for publications such as Forbes, Adweek, HBR, Smashing Magazine, and many other publications you may have heard of before, on top of writing books and white papers that have reached far around the globe and as high as federal legislators in the United States. But before you get to them, you’ll first have to get past the interview process.

Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, understands the importance of keeping up-to-date with modern tools and technologies, loves sparking new initiatives, and wants to have the opportunity to work in a role that allows them to define their voice, thereby catalyzing their career.
