Marketing Assistant - MTech (Westminster, CO)

Provides support for marketing on a variety of projects including internal communication tactics and departmental support. As a secondary function, this position also offers administrative support to the entire management team.

Essential Job Functions:
> Create internal communications tactics including company-wide emails, newsletters, and develop ideas for future enhancements
> Design/production of presentations for internal meetings or external events
> Assists with production of proposals, pre-qualification packages and interview preparation
> Create external communications tactics following brand standards and guidelines
> Create and update content for company online platforms – websites, social media channels
> Execute internal departmental company events including team buildings, safety events, jobsite BBQs, quarterly socials, apprenticeship breakfast as well as others
> Track association memberships and completes registration for networking and industry events
> Update and create entries into CRM database for project, client and internal team information
> Create and order promotional items for industry events, career fairs and client giveaways
> Collaborate with Human Resources on any recruiting needs that coincide with marketing: booth displays, event brochures or promo items, etc.
> Administrative support, general correspondence, miscellaneous copying and scanning
> Coordinating meetings (ordering lunches, reserving meeting space, sending invitations, set up / clean up meeting room)
> Occasional arrangement of corporate travel and meetings by booking transportation; arranging lodging and meeting accommodations
> Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans
> Collaborates with a variety of individuals to develop relevant, engaging, and effective strategies and content for marketing communications projects
> Regular and predictable attendance is expected in order to meet the requirements of this position
> Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
> Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or similar field
> 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
> Must possess a valid driver's license
> Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
> Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
> Experience with Wordpress and Social Media outlets preferred
> Experience with Graphic design / Web design / Video Editing a plus
> Requires communication ability (both writing & speaking), critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action
> Attention to detail and ability to multitask is essential
